Hotels We Use On Our Spiritual Tours of Egypt

Hotels We Use on our Spiritual Tours to Egypt

The hotels we choose to use for our all our tours of Egypt are all of the highest standard. We believe that where you stay is just as much a part of your spiritual tour of Egypt as the sites you visit. When choosing hotels for our spiritual tours of Egypt, we endeavour to give you experiences that remind you that you are in Egypt so we choose hotels that still maintain the arabic influence in their decor.

Cairo Hotels

The Mena House Hotel in Giza in the Shadow of the Pyramids

While we are in Cairo we use the famous Mena House Hotel which is located right next to the pyramids. This hotel is one of the treasures of Egypt and dates back to the time of the Khedive. The Mena House is a former hunting palace and the Arabic decor has been preserved. The royal history of the hotel is reflected in luxurious interiors that are embellished with exquisite antiques, handcrafted furniture, original works of art and magnificent antiques. There is accommodation in the palace plus a further accommodation wing in the garden. You can choose a garden view or a view of the pyramids. Check out the video of the Mena House accommodation below and then the following video which gives you a tour of the gardens of the Mena House and those fabulous views of the pyramids.  The Mena House Hotel is the perfect place to begin and end our spiritual tours of Egypt.

Luxor

Sonesta St George

When we stay in Luxor we choose the central and luxurious Sonesta St George Hotel.   The hotel is situatied right on the banks of the Nile River and is central to the Luxor Temple and the Luxor Markets.   The hotel is decorated in contemporary style with Arabic touches.   The hotel has a grand entrance of polished marble and handsomely appointed furnishings including a magnificent rectangular crystal chandelier reflected in the sparking marble floor.  The day spa is a slice of heaven and I can thoroughly recommend the massages.  There are several restaurants serving a variety of cuisine and a number of shops to indulge your retail therapy urges.  The rooms we use are spacious and usually have views of the Nile River and the beds are wonderful.
